North East Color Guard Circuit
We are a governing body for visual performing arts competitions in Western NY. Founded in 1988, NECGC organizes and hosts competitions for Scholastic, Independent, and Collegiate Color Guard Programs. The North East Color Guard Circuit's competitive season runs from January to March each year. We are a circuit partner with the world premier organization, Winter Guard International (WGI).
Meet our Board of Directors
My name is Kevin McLoud and I am the President for the North East Color Guard Circuit. I have marched with such groups as the Penn Yan Senior Winterguard, Rochester Pariots Winterguard and Drum Corp, Emerald Marquis Winterguard, and Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corp. I have instructed several guards over the years including St. Johns of Beverly, Sacred Heart, Gates Chili Varsity Winterguard, Naples Winterguard, Patriots Winterguard, Gates Chili IA, Marcus Whitman Winterguard. I have served on the NECGC Board of Directors since 2012
My name is Sandy Damiani and I am the Treasurer of the North East Color Guard Circuit. I live with my husband Andy and two sons, Nathan and Andrew along with two very overweight cats in Amherst, NY, and work at the Alden Central School District as a Special Education Teacher. My love for color guard started back in 1983 when I started marching with the Renaissance Winter Guard. Over the years I have marched with other groups including The Rochester Crusaders / Senior Guard, and the Deja Vu Senior Guard. I have also instructed and helped many guard and Marching Programs over the years. Currently, in addition to being Vice President of the NECGC, I am a Marching Member and Design Staff Member of the Luminous Senior Winterguard.
My name is Joann Piasecki and I am the Vice President for the NorthEast Color Guard Circuit. I live with my husband and 4 Legged Fur Baby Cabo in Williamsville, NY, and work at the Amherst Industrial Development Agency. My love for color guard started back in 1979 when I was a Student at Lancaster Central School. (Lancaster, NY). After High School I continued in the Color Guard Activity Marching with the Renaissance Winter Guard, The Rochester Crusader Senior Guard, and the Deja Vu Senior Guard. I have also instructed and helped several guards over the years. Currently, in addition to being Vice President of the NECGC, I am a Staff Member with the Lancaster High School Marching Legends and a Design Staff Member of the Luminous Senior Winterguard.
My name is Terri Maddigan and I am the Secretary for the NorthEast Color Guard Circuit. I live with my husband and 2 children in Williamsville, NY, and work at UnitedHealthcare. My love for color guard started back in 1974 when I was invited to a practice for the Saints (of Williamsville, NY), and I never looked back. After the Saints, I marched with Renaissance during the 80’s, until I aged out. In 1999 I teamed up with my guard friends and we marched in the senior guard, Deja Vu. I have also instructed and helped several guards over the years. Currently, in addition to being secretary, I assist our circuit with tabulation/CompetitionSuite, and also work with WGI tabulating for several regionals.
