John Anderson was man like no other.  The North East Color Guard Circuit and Winterguard Community lost a True Champion and supporter of the activity!  John was a Director, Father, social worker, driver, event planner, photographer, fund raiser and floor crew member.  NO matter the challenge or obstacle, John faced it with a positive attitude and sense of humor, frequently and freely sharing his time and talents with others.

Inspired by the impact John Anderson had on the lives of so many people, and the example he set, The John Anderson Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an individual with similar attributes; a role model with extraordinary dedication to community service.  Someone who generously shares their time and talent though volunteerism which positively impacts the world in which we live!
